Our office hours are 7:30am-5:00pm  Monday-Friday
Deliveries and tent set-up / takedown "required" before or after the hours stated will be subject to additional charges as applicable.

RATES

Tent item rates quoted are for a 7 day period on location and include set-up and take-down.
A 10% per day additional fee is charged after the 7 day period.
 
Tables, Chairs, etc. pricing is quoted "Tail Gate" (stacked) delivery and is for a 4 day period. An additional full rental rate is charged for each 1-4 days required thereafter. Labor for set-up and takedown is extra for all items except tents. Please contact us for pricing on labor.

PAYMENT

All Payments Must Be Made in U.S. Currency. We accept cash, check, VISA, Mastercard, and Discover cards.  Payments of rented items and services must be made in full prior to the renter taking possession of the items on the contract. A deposit of one-third of the contract total at the time of order confirmation will be required to reserve inventory items.
Exceptions to this will be made to Corporations, Businesses, Churches and Established Service Organizations with prior approval.

DELIVERY and PICK-UP

Delivery charges are based on the mileage from our location on the near south side of downtown Indianapolis. This cost is contingent upon our crew being able to begin setup within 15 minutes of arrival at a pre-arranged location.
For example, parking lots must be free of all parked cars in the area that the work is to be done before the crew arrives.
A delay of crew charge will be assessed based on the labor cost per 15 minutes thereafter.

SALES TAX

All rental items are subject to the 7% Indiana Sales Tax unless you provide us with a copy of an Indiana Sales Tax Exempt Certificate in the name of the corporation, business, church or service organization shown on the contract.
By law we must keep a copy of the certificate on record for tax purposes.

CHANGES

Changes to your order may be made up to 2 days prior to delivery (subject to availibity). Changes after delivery will be charged rental adjustment, restocking and additional delivery fees. Cancellation of items may be made 15 days prior to the delivery date for a full refund. Cancellation in less than 15 days will result in a one-third charge of the total contract charges.

PLEASE NOTE: After a tent has been placed as instructed by the Renter, or the Renter's representative, and a decision is made to move the tent, additional charges will be assessed based on labor time to move the tent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

American Tent and Awning Co. Inc. hereby states that all tents and canopies will be erected and anchored down to the safety standards of the IFAI Tent Rental Division and /or the Indiana State Fire Code whichever is more stringent. The renter is responsible for the safety and security of all rental items while on the site of their event. We reserve the right to not erect any temporary structure when the renter or other involved party requests any type of anchoring or structural part be moved or removed that may jeopardize the safety of your guests, or the general public. Should a storm do something to the tent, we will take measures to rectify the situation and make it safe again, just contact us. 


The renter is responsible for providing and securing the tent location and any permits that may be required. We can help with the permits if needed.

Indiana State Law § IC-8-26 requires two full working days' notice to the Indiana Underground  Utilities Locator. We will need to know the location's County, Township, Main Cross Streets, Address, and a Contact Person's name and phone number to have underground utilities located for you. American Tent & Awning will not be responsible for any underground damage.
